The township of Balatonkeresztúr  lies on the southern beach of Lake Balaton, about 200 km (125 statue miles) away from Budapest. It has a peaceful, calm, secure, stagy lakeside, which ensures the perfect recreation. Between 1925 and 1927 was Balatonmáriafürdő and Balatonkeresztúr divided. Present day, this two townships are so coalesced, that the visitors often don' t know, where they are. It is easy to reach Balatonkeresztúr via semi- motorway 7 from the direction of Budapest, and from Nagykanizsa too. The township lies on the train- line Budapest- Nagykanizsa, so it is easy to get there by the train too.

Our cottage stands in a silent, peaceful ambit, halfway between Balatonmáriafürdő and Balatonfenyves. It's perfect for recreation with all the folks. The beach is within easy reach on foot. It is fair developed, there is a well- groomed sward, volleyball, pizza, ice- cream, bar, pub, gaming room, disco.
